Karis Dolenz is in her third year as head director for Valley High School Choirs. She graduated from Kansas State University in 2016 with a Bachelors in Music Education. She earned her Masters Degree two years later from Westminster, Rider College in choral conducting.
While at Valley High School, Mrs. Dolenz has directed three musicals including: Beauty and the Beast, Bye Bye Birdie, and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. She is also involved in community theater and serves on the Board of Directors for the Charleston Arts Society. She loves working with students of any age because "their is nothing like helping students discover their confidence both on and off the stage!" Stephen graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelors in both Accounting and Organ Performance. He enjoys singing the national anthem, running outdoors, and eating peanut butter whenever he can get the chance! |

A valued member of our staff, he works with students 1:1 to coach vocal solos and small ensemble works in order to prepare students for district music contest.
